Why don't I see the LDSToolbar on my browser?

If you have installed the LDSToolbar and do not see the icon, or you installed a new version of Internet Explorer and the LDSToolbar is no longer displayed, go to View > Toolbars and click on the LDSToolbar option. If you don't see the LDSToolbar listed, follow the instructions below.


Why isn't my radio / podcast player working?

If your radio player on your toolbar isn't won't play or shows a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark, simply right-clck on the toolbar and click "Refresh Toolbar" This should resolve the issue.


How can I move the LDSToolbar to a different location?

Note: If you are using Internet Explorer 6.0, you must unlock the toolbars before you can move them. Right click on the toolbar and deselect the Lock the Toolbars option.

You can change the location of the LDSToolbar on your browser by clicking and dragging the vertical separator bar to the left of the LDSToolbar icon by placing the LDSToolbar in the desired location. This functionality enables you to place two (or more) toolbars on the same line if you want to conserve space in your browser.

Please note that, as with all of Internet Explorer's toolbars, you can only move the LDSToolbar to locations on the top of your browser window. Toolbars can not be placed on the side or bottom of the browser window.


How do I remove the Facebook popup?

Simply right-click on the toolbar, go to "Toolbar Options", check the Facebook box under Personal Components. Other items can be removed from the "Predefined Components" tab in this same window.

Why don't I see the LDSToolbar listed in the Internet Explorer toolbars list?

Some earlier builds of Internet Explorer 5.0 have a known problem with their toolbars. The LDSToolbar may be listed under the name 'Radio' (usually the second such listing). Go to View > Toolbars and click on the second Radio option.


Does the LDSToolbar conflict with my browser or other add-ons?

No, the LDSToolbar is designed to run without affecting any other system add-ons.


I installed the new version of Internet Explorer (6.0). Why doesn't the LDSToolbar icon appear on my browser?

In Internet Explorer, go to View > Toolbars and check that the LDSToolbar option is selected. If not, select it.


I'm trying to uninstall the LDSToolbar but keep getting an error message. What should I do?

Install the LDSToolbar again and then uninstall it.

No, the LDSToolbar is free of charge.

How do I uninstall the LDSToolbar?

To uninstall the LDSToolbar from your computer, simply click the down arrow just to the right of the LDS Toolbar logo (on the toolbar), click "Uninstall".

To uninstall the LDSToolbar from your Firefox browser do as follows:

  • Open Firefox and click on the "Tools" menu.
  • Select "Add-ons".
  • Navigate to "Extensions" in the left menu.
  • Click on the "Remove" button on the LDSToolbar.com Community Toolbar.

To uninstall the LDSToolbar from your Google Chrome browser do as follows:

  • Open Chrome and click the wrench in the top right corner.
  • Then go to "Tools" > "Extensions"
  • Click the trash can just to the right of where the LDS Toolbar is enabled.

To uninstall the LDSToolbar from your Internet Explorer browser do as follows:

  • Click the gear in the top right corner, or navigate to "Tools".
  • Click "Manage Add-ons".
  • Navigate to toolbars and extensions on the left side menu.
  • Click on LDSToolbar.com Toolbar, click "Disable".
  • For Internet Explorer, you may also completely remove the toolbar from the "Add or Remove Programs" area in the Control Panel.

To uninstall the LDSToolbar from your Safari internet browser do as follows:

  • Go to the Applications folder on your Mac.
  • Open the Toolbars folder.
  • Find LDS Toolbar in the list.
  • Click Uninstall
